Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager

We are looking for either an experienced environmental project manager or assistant project manager. Job duties will include managing large to medium sized environmental studies, including EISs, EAs, EIRs, planning studies and related documents. Requires degree in environmental studies, planning, engineering, biology, law, or related field. Candidates must have at least 4 years’ experience in the environmental field. Position requirements include:

  • Degree (advanced degree preferred) in environmental studies or related field.
  • Familiarity with NEPA and CEQA requirements of federal, state and local agencies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with a team internally, clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to direct the work of a multidisciplinary team of staff and subconsultants.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all Microsoft Office suite products, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong skill set in writing and editing sections of reports and to provide final quality control for documents before delivery to clients.
  • Preferably experience with documentation to facilitate Section 7 and Section 106 compliance, Section 404 permits, NPDES permits and Section 401 Certifications.
  • Proven business development capability
