Lake Dalwigk Project Approved
February 1, 2012

CEQA documentation and permitting for Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District’s Lake Dalwigk habitat restoration and stormwater project has been approved. The project site, located in Vallejo, CA, functioned both as wildlife habitat and as a stormwater detention basin. It required dredging to return it to its previous flood storage capacity, and degraded wetland and upland habitat needed to be enhanced. AES assisted the District with CEQA compliance and permits from the US Army Corps of Engineers, CA Department of Fish and Game, and the Bay Area Regional Water Quality Control Board. Construction is scheduled for the summer of 2012.
