Clean Water Act Section 404 Permit Issued for Work Along Arkansas River
October 15, 2014

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued a long awaited permit for construction work within and on the banks of the Arkansas River near Tulsa, Oklahoma today. The AES permitting and biological group was instrumental in working with the project team to meet the rigorous mitigation requirements of the federal agencies involved, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and U.S. EPA. The permit allows for the recovery of approximately 13 acres of eroded river bank which makes the Muskogee Creek Nation’s construction project possible. News story
