Folsom and Concord Project CEQA Documents Approved on the Same Night
February 23, 2016

Although separated by nearly 100 miles, the Econome Family Park Project in Folsom and the Autumn Brook Subdivision Project in Concord where approved and the CEQA documents certified by the respective City councils within hours of each other tonight. AES prepared the initial study/mitigated negative declaration for both projects.

The Folsom project entails the development of the Econome Family Park at the southeastern corner of the intersection of Blue Ravine Road and Parkway Drive in the northeastern portion of the City. The park includes a natural and synthetic athletic field (for soccer, lacrosse, and cricket; both lighted), two lighted tennis courts, bocce ball courts, children’s play area, and associated amenities including a restroom, group picnic area with a shade structure, and parking spaces.

The Concord project involved the subdivision of a 2.02-acre lot located on Risdon Road in the southern part of the City, approximately 2 miles east of Highway 680. The eight subdivided lots support development of eight Craftsman-style single-family detached homes.
