AES selected by CA State Water Resources Control Board for Multi-Year Contract
June 6, 2017

AES has been selected and is now under contract to the California SWRCB Division of Water Rights for a 5-year, $5,000,000 contract to assist the Division with environmental compliance. The contract was the result of a competitive process in which AES was determined to be the most qualified firm to conduct environmental studies, including California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documentation, for water rights projects. Water right applications to the SWRCB typically involve requests to appropriate water from surface water bodies, although they may also be related to changes in Place of Use and changes in Point of Diversion. AES has previously conducted environmental studies related to over 100 water rights projects in California, many of which involve new and existing vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake counties.
