Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (February 2008)

This document examines the potential environmental effects of the proposed Lemon Street Channel Flood Reduction and Habitat Enhancement Project (Proposed Project). The Proposed Project would reduce flooding of the area surrounding the Lemon Street Channel while providing habitat enhancements along the channel and within the Lake Dalwigk detention basin. The document has been prepared for the Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District (Lead Agency) in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) of 1970 (as amended), codified at in California Public Resources Code Sections 21000 et seq., and the State CEQA Guidelines in the Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3.
