Carmichael Water District Final Initial Study / MNDThis Initial Study has been prepared by AES and the Carmichael Water District in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to examine the potential environmental effects associated with construction of the American River Pipeline Conveyance Project (Project). The Project consists of: 1) pipeline construction from the Carmichael Water District’s Bajamont WTP under the American River to the existing Golden State Water Company (GSWC) water distribution system in Rancho Cordova; 2) abandoned pipeline removal within the American River; 3) culvert replacement and bank stabilization on the north bank; and 4) stream restoration along the north bank of the American River. Supporting technical documents prepared by AES include: Biological Assessment, Cultural Resources Report, Wetland Delineation Report, and a Mitigation, Monitoring, and Reporting Plan. The Initial Study was released for public review and comment on February 6, 2015.
