Ho-Chunk Village NEPA Environmental Assessment
May 5, 2017

The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), released an Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared by AES for the Ho-Chunk Village West Business Development Project on May 5, 2017. The document analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the Proposed Action, which consists of the federal trust acquisition of approximately 397 acres located adjacent to lands held in trust for the Ho-Chunk Nation in the Town of Delton in Sauk County, Wisconsin. The Ho-Chunk Nation proposes to subsequently develop the site with mixed-use facilities, including residential, commercial, institutional, recreational, and open space uses. The BIA will use the EA and comments submitted from the public to determine if the project would result in an adverse effect to the environment. VIEW DOCUMENT
